"Less than one year ago in September 2016, at this very place – but a few meters deeper – we laid the cornerstone for a building whose unique design can already be seen in the shell construction“, indicated Peter Vinnemeier, Managing Director of trivago, at the topping-out ceremony for our trivago Campus in the Düsseldorfer Medienhafen. Starting next year, this building with its 26,000 sqm of office space will become the global headquarters of trivago.IMMOFINANZ CEO Oliver Schumy thanked all of the project partners and the city of Düsseldorf and, of course, the many construction workers. And he also mentioned IMMOFINANZ’s neighbouring landmark project FLOAT. “As you can see, we are actually realising two impressive office development projects here in the Medienhafen, which make us one of the largest real estate investors in Düsseldorf."
The following aerial views show that IMMOFINANZ is currently the “master of the cranes“ in the Medienhafen.
Cornelia Zuschke, Head of the Planning Düsseldorf Department, expressed her approval, above all, over trivago‘s clear commitment to this location, which will soon make Düsseldorf a home for many of trivago’s international staff.
