On Thursday evening we had the pleasure of receiving special recognition for IMMOFINANZ’s commercial success in the past financial year. In the Austrian Leading Companies (ALC) awards, which have now been established for many years, IMMOFINANZ emerged as the winner of the International Companies category in the federal state of Vienna.
The ALC awards are given by the daily newspaper “Die Presse”, PwC Austria and KSV 1870 based on an objective evaluation system with around ten defined performance indicators. These involve, for example, revenue and EBIT development, ROCE and the level of gearing. Each indicator is individually assessed by PwC experts based on three-year performance, leading to an overall result. Companies which receive awards in the International Companies category must additionally have an international business model, value creation chain and customer base.
“The foundation of IMMOFINANZ’s success is formed by two key pillars: a very solid financial profile and a progressive brand strategy“, said PwC Partner Christine Catasta in her speech as the prize was presented to CEO Oliver Schumy. He took a great deal of pleasure in the award: “It is recognition of the work undertaken by our team. And this team has moved more than one mountain in the past year to achieve everything for which we have been awarded today”, stated Schumy. “The 2018 financial year was a strong and important one in our company’s history. It showed that IMMOFINANZ was able to transform the considerable challenges of the past into great commercial success.”
We are delighted and extend our congratulations to all of the other ALC award winners, including paysafe card and Siemens Austria in our category!
