IMMOFINANZ in Poland: a completed VIVO! shell, STOP.SHOP. number 5 and a leasing record

It's time for another look around Poland because there is an active news flow for portfolio properties as well as in the development business.
  • In the southeast of the country – more precisely in Stalowa Wola – the completion of the shell of our third VIVO! shopping centre was celebrated on 25 June. All (!) the journalists of the region (incl. radio station + camera teams) accepted the invitation and showed keen interest. The new VIVO! location will have around 32,000 sqm of lettable space and provide room for more than 80 shops. The construction progress in brief: 60% of the planned work has been carried out, the intended building height has been reached and the construction of the roof is finished. We are currently building the partitioned walls and designing the external facade. The opening will take place in the final quarter of the year. The leasing process is fully underway: Intermarche, H&M, Martes Sport, Media Expert as well as the LPP brands RESERVED, MOHITO, House and Cropp, SiNSAY and Home&You have already opted for VIVO! Stalowa Wola; additional rental agreements with international, national as well as local tenants are about to be concluded.

  • From the southeast to the northwest: there, at the other end of Poland in the city of Świnoujście, the construction work has begun for our fifth Polish STOP.SHOP. From an architectural perspective, the location differs considerably from all others to date, after all, the property is impressively dominated by an historical structure that was formerly used as a slaughterhouse and butcher's. STOP.SHOP. will feature 3,600 sqm of lettable space; the opening is likely to take place in spring of 2016.

  • And to wrap up some news from the leasing business: for Silesia City Park we can report the conclusion of the biggest single logistics leasing agreement in our Polish company's history. Nowakowski Piekarnie Sp. z o.o. – a manufacturer of bread and baked goods – is leasing around 17,000 sqm for 18 years.
Attached are a couple of pictures of the roof-topping ceremony (incl. the topping-out wreath" as well as a rendering of the fifth STOP.SHOP. in Świnoujście.
