IMMOFINANZ in Poland: rental news, countdown to the opening and construction update

In the last few days there has been an active news flow from our core country Poland, and not just concerning our property leasings; things are also progressing well at the construction sites of our development projects. Here is a brief summary of the most recent events:- In matters of office rentals we have had a successful start to 2015: our office colleagues have concluded rental agreements for more than 11,000 sqm in Warsaw in the last few weeks – about one third of them are new lettings. A total of 13 leases for office space in six of our buildings are involved. The tenants include Abbott Laboratories, Givaudan and Damovo, among others.

- The kick-off for the construction of our second VIVO! shopping centre in Stalowa Wola was in December; foundation work and pillar and pile construction are underway and to some extent also concluded (see pictures below). The first tenants, in the fashion as well as electronics industries, have also been determined. The opening is planned for Q4 2015.

- While construction is still underway in Stalowa Wola, in Lublin the countdown is already on. The opening of our retail development Tarasy Zamkowe is set: on 4 March the 38,000 sqm shopping centre will open its doors for the first time. We have prepared an extensive, multiday opening programme – details to follow.

- And last but not least: the construction of our Riverpark residential project started in Poznan in 2013 is entering the final phase and will be concluded in summer – around 50% of the flats are already sold.
