IMMOFINANZ: Modernisation and grand openings in pink

We recently reached two milestones in our VIVO! shopping centers: The modernisation projects in our Bratislava and Cluj shopping centers were completed and celebrations marked the entry of numerous new tenants. Last week we held a press conference and the grand opening of our VIVO! Bratislava. It was the day everyone had been working towards for nearly one year: this first – and oldest – shopping center in Slovakia was not only extensively modernised but, in a final integration step, its name was officially changed to VIVO! Bratislava.

The modernisation and further improvement of the tenant mix was a full success: the number of visitors rose by a sound 35% over the previous month. The guests at the party on the day before the celebration were impressed by the improved offering in the VIVO! Bratislava. Based on this current trend, the colleagues on site expect an occupancy rate of 98% – meaning full occupancy – by year-end. New anchor tenants, including the food retailer Lidl and the fashion retailer LPP, confirm the successful concept and, with their attractive offerings, will support further growth in the number of visitors. The new opening was celebrated with a large concert on the following day.

In Romania, we modernised our VIVO! Cluj-Napoca and welcomed a number of new tenants at the grand opening – including the well-known brands Peek & Cloppenburg, Massimo Dutti, Zara Home and many others. This repositioning has also been very well received as can be seen from the 13% increase in visitor traffic over the previous month. The VIVO! Cluj has already reached full occupancy. The festivities were held, true to the original style, in the VIVO! brand’s magenta tone and accompanied by numerous visitors.
