July and August are normally two months without road shows and investors conferences. Of course – summertime is vacation time. Actually, this is also true for our boerse-social private investor road shows. But this year we introduced a new concept for the summer: Road show goes outdoors and road show goes “Stammtisch“.In other words, we relocated to the fresh air, to a restaurant with a great open-air garden on the Alte Donau, an old channel of the Danube River in Vienna. And turned the event into an enjoyable meeting for company representatives – no presentations in front of an audience, but instead lots of opportunities for questions and discussions.
This idea was very well received by our subscribers to http://www.boerse-social.com/magazine who had an opportunity to enjoy a summer menu and speak with representatives of Immofinanz, Own Austria, Palfinger and Uniqa. The questions for Immofinanz focused, among others, on the sale or spin-off of the Russian portfolio (which, as announced, should take place by the end of this year), the planned merger with CA Immo (which is on our schedule for 2018) and the general situation on the real estate markets. And, of course, there was also time for a general discussion of stock market subjects.
We will, of course, continue to organise our traditional private investor road shows, but have now found a new format for the summer months: The second event is already scheduled for 16 August – and naturally with a longer report in the upcoming boerse-social magazine that will focus on private investors: what are they looking for, what are companies’ focal points, etc.
