Normally we would offer our customers many summer events in our VIVO! and STOP SHOP shopping centers at this time of year. An example would be the summer beach in front of our shopping centers. Since March, however, Corona has changed everything, including the approach to so-called real estate marketing. In the hope that "the worst is behind us", our marketing team had to rethink its ideas and projects for our shopping centers and retail parks in order to come up with events that meet the current situation with its focus on security.
One of the many ideas we implemented in our retail parks during this time was the drive-in open air cinema. The project was launched in two of our Polish STOP SHOPs - in Siedlce and Łowicz. The whole concept is very simple - you drive your car to the STOP SHOP parking lot and stay in your car to watch a movie. This way you combine safety and entertainment. The drive-in cinema in Poland is free, the screenings take place once a week for a total of six consecutive weeks. Already after the first film it was clear that this idea was very well accepted. At both locations our parking lots were full to the last spot. This success motivates us to continue offering creative solutions and events to our visitors.
