Completion of roof construction works at STOP SHOP Świnoujście

Today the ‘topping out’ ceremony symbolizing the completion of the roof structure of the new STOP SHOP Świnoujście (Poland) took place. It was held at the Clock Tower, an integral part of this retail park. From an architectural point of view, the project in Świnoujście will stand out from the existing STOP SHOP  properties in that it will be opened in a former communal slaughterhouse and butcher's shop registered as a historic monument. Among the tenants are brands such as Jysk, KIK, EURO RTV AGD, Martes Sport and Perfect Optic. The opening of the Świnoujście retail park is scheduled for spring 2016.

"The STOP SHOP in Świnoujście will be our fifth retail park in Poland. We are pleased with the progress of the construction works", commented Jacek Wesolowski, Country Manager Development IMMOFINANZ Poland. "The commercialization process of this STOP SHOP is also encouraging. All of the largest units have already been leased, and new contracts are in the finalization process", he added.

STOP SHOP in Świnoujście will have a total of 3,600 sqm of leasable space and is located on 15 Kosciuszki Street – next to the Kaufland supermarket. The catchment area of this facility has a population of more than 70,000 residents, who will be able to reach the center in under 30 minutes.
