IMMOFINANZ announces the successful completion of the refurbishment process of over 10,000 sqm of VIVO! Baia Mare

VIVO! Baia Mare celebrates the reopening of one third of the total rentable area of the shopping center, by opening a LIDL store as well as more than ten outlets with new shopping concepts. The total investment in the modernising process is over EUR 7 million.

“Following the successful refurbishment of VIVO! Cluj in 2019, we are happy to reopen VIVO! Baia Mare freshly modernised in order to provide customers with a contemporary atmosphere, premium services and an improved shopping experience. This underscores VIVO! Baia Mare as the leading shopping and entertainment destination in Maramures, and it is part of IMMOFINANZ’s strategy to keep up with the trends and modernise all shopping centers in its portfolio,” said Fulga Dinu, Country Manager Operations IMMOFINANZ Romania.

Starting on 18 November 2021, the ground floor of VIVO! Baia Mare – also accessible from the underground parking of the shopping center – will reopen in a state-of-the-art shopping and leisure area. Visitors of VIVO! Baia Mare are invited to discover new outlets and enjoy shopping breaks in new indoor cafés.

The LIDL supermarket offers customers products with the best price-quality ratio and a broad selection. Designed around the ever-changing desires and needs of consumers, the new tenant mix covers the main shopping categories: consumer goods – LIDL and La Casa (local manufacturer); fashion – various brands, Colin's, DeFacto, Kik; sports – Hervis Sports, Sport Vision; jewellery – TEILOR, Sabrini; interior design – English Home; pharmaceuticals – Nordpharm, and organic and natural products – Dr Green.

At the same time, new retail concepts are introduced in the refurbished area. Flanco, Animax, dm, OPTIblu and Sizeer are launching their stores in newly configured spaces with an innovative design.

VIVO! Baia Mare celebrates the completion of the refurbishment process with the NEWER FOR YOU campaign, a creative concept that represents the values of the shopping center: respect for tradition, family and modernity. Thus, on 18 November, the shopping center invites visitors who possess a green certificate to spend a memorable day in a festive atmosphere with good music, balloons, sensational photos and many other surprises.

At VIVO! the safety of visitors and employees in the shopping center is a top priority. The cleaning staff continuously ensures sanitation and disinfection of the surfaces with which we come into contact, all this being monitored every hour. Dispensers with hand sanitising solution have also been installed in the toilet and restaurant areas. The restaurant area has been reorganised to ensure optimal spacing between tables.
