Today IMMOFINANZ celebrates the roof topping ceremony symbolizing the completion of the roof structure of the new shopping center VIVO! Stalowa Wola. VIVO! is the latest retail brand introduced by the Austrian investor and developer, and the facility in Stalowa Wola will be the second center of this type in company’s portfolio. The grand opening of VIVO! Stalowa Wola is planned for the last quarter of 2015.
"Our project in Stalowa Wola is an important step for the further development of IMMOFINANZ in the retail sector in Poland. Therefore we are pleased that the construction works at this facility are progressing as planned and soon we will be able to provide the inhabitants of the city and region with a new quality shopping experience”, says Jacek Wesolowski, Country Manager Development Poland at IMMOFINANZ, during the roof topping ceremony. "While building this center, we wanted the architectural design to be associated with the region and its cities, hence there are many elements of steel, Sandomierz’s flint or references to the San river in the construction of VIVO!", he adds.
VIVO! Stalowa Wola will have a rentable space of approximately 32,000 sqm spread between more than 80 shops. The decision to implement a project based on the VIVO! concept in this city was supported by a number of factors. Stalowa Wola is the second most populous city in the Podkarpackie area and an important hub in the region. In addition, being a part of the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Wisłosan should result in rapid economic development of the city. The VIVO! site is located in the district of Poreba – the most densely inhabited part of the city. Importantly, the shopping center will be extremely well connected to the city and the region thanks to the close proximity to the main road leading to Sandomierz and Rzeszow.
VIVO! Stalowa Wola has reached the planned height of 7.5 m. The roof construction is complete and 60% of the scheduled works are finished. The shell of the building is currently in its final stages and construction of the dividing walls for the facility is underway. In addition, there are works outside of the building for the road system and parking.
The commercialization process of VIVO! Stalowa Wola is progressing well. Among the brands which have already signed lease agreements are: Intermarche, H&M, Martes Sport, Media Expert, My Travel Kolporter, RESERVED, MOHITO, House and Cropp, SiNSAY, Home&You, ITAKA or Play. Further contracts with international, national and local tenants are currently in the process of being finalised and signed. IMMOFINANZ is developing this project together with the Acteeum Group, a retail project specialist (shareholdings: 86% IMMOFINANZ, 14% Acteeum Group).
